Turkey and universities around the world that aim to obtain a distinguished place among the university was established on March 1, 2006 by Law No. 5467.

Although it has been established recently, our university proves that it is a “Developing Young University” by making strides in social, cultural, physical, and sportive fields, especially in the scientific field.

Our university has an increasing number of distinguished academic and administrative staff, 13 faculties, 3 institutes, 3 colleges, 13 vocational schools, and 19 research and application centers. In addition, there are 1 conference hall in our campus area, 1 in the Faculty of Education Campus and 2 in the Kuzeykent Campus, a total of 3 indoor sports halls, 1 fitness hall, 1 football field, and athletic track, outdoor sports fields, Center and there are student laboratories, research and investigation vessel, 2 social facilities, Practice Kindergarten, Cide Practice Hotel.

English preparatory education is given at our university. The education given by the School of Foreign Languages ​​is compulsory for the Faculty of Tourism and optional for the other departments. In addition, Turkish education is given at the Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) for our students coming from abroad.

The number and activities of our 57 student clubs, which actively operate in different fields such as theater, history, music, photography, and environment, continue to increase day by day.

Our university has bilateral protocol agreements with 75 universities in the USA, Argentina, Portugal, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Within the framework of these protocols, our graduates from our Vocational Schools have the opportunity to complete a bachelor's degree in universities around the world where our bilateral protocol is available and our graduate students to receive a master's degree. The agreements also include research, joint project execution, and exchange of faculty and students.

In addition, we have agreements with 83 universities in our country within the framework of the Farabi exchange program, and 45 European Universities within the framework of the Erasmus program, internship, and faculty mobility.

Our university, which will quickly add new ones between the universities that we have signed the Cooperation Protocol and the universities where we have Erasmus and Farabi agreements, is taking firm steps towards becoming 'World University'.

With the new faculties, institutes, colleges, and research centers to be established, our University will continue to diversify and develop the educational opportunities it will offer to its students in the future.
