Kadir Has University

The foundation of our university, which was started in 1992 by the Kadir Has Foundation (HASVAK) under the leadership of the late Kadir Has, was carried out with the law numbered 4263 on 28.05.1997.

Kadir Has University was established to provide a parallel education, research, and discussion environment for the world's leading universities. In this context, it is aimed to address the appropriate conditions with a "learner-centered" approach in order to train students with interdisciplinary equipment, to sustain their development in social and cultural areas, and to learn how to make multi-faceted evaluations while looking for the truth.

In order to reach these goals, the academic staff of the University is carefully selected among the graduates of universities that have achieved national-international reputation, and all the opportunities required by the educational environment in international quality standards are offered to students, academic staff and stakeholders unlimitedly.

In line with its strategic plan and goals, Kadir Has University establishes the institution's internal and external quality assurance system, determines institutional indicators, monitors the functioning of the quality system and works in this context, It has established and implemented a comprehensive "Quality Assurance System" in order to execute in line with the procedures and principles determined by the Board. Within this framework, "Quality Commission" and "Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CELT)" were established, and then "Quality Assurance Directive" was created and published.

Kadir Has University Quality Commission adopts to produce policies for continuous improvement and development by making evaluations with a participatory and transparent understanding in line with the University Strategic Plan and objectives. With this understanding, the Commission conducts studies on planning the quality assurance system, developing the institution's strategy regarding quality and standards, following the responsibilities of faculties, departments and faculty members on quality assurance, ensuring the participation of students in quality assurance studies, determining the methods of implementation, monitoring, and updating of the university's quality policies.
