Izmir University of Economics

İzmir University of Economics, T.C. The Constitution is a higher education institution that aims to raise participatory, creative and entrepreneurial individuals who are bound by the principles and reforms of Atatürk, established by the "Izmir Chamber of Commerce Education and Health Foundation" in line with the provisions of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the Regulation on Foundation Higher Education Institutions. The university started education in 2001 and is the first foundation university of both Izmir and Aegean Region.

The university has 8 Faculties, 2 Schools, 3 Vocational Schools, 4 Institutes, 10 Practice, and Research Centers.

In these academic units, undergraduate education in 32 different programs, undergraduate education in 35 different programs, postgraduate education in 38 different programs, and doctorate education in 9 different programs are carried out.

Students are accepted to the "Fashion and Textile Design" department with a pre-registration / special talent and other undergraduate and associate degree programs with a central system (placed by ÖSYM).

As of March 2019, we have ERASMUS agreements with 168 universities in 26 countries and academic cooperation protocols with 41 universities.

The mission of the İzmir University of Economics is to train qualified graduates equipped with leadership qualities, who can think entrepreneurially and critically, and contribute to science through original research.
