İstanbul Kültür University

It is a public university with a public legal entity established on 15 July 1997 with the law numbered 4281. It conducts education and training in accordance with the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and has all the rights and powers of a public university.

The Republic of Turkey and the Turkish nation to reach the level of contemporary civilization exceeding the target does not change, our young people, no matter at what stage, but it is possible to receive a quality education. In this context, the main purpose of Istanbul Kültür University is to do Higher Education.

The problems of accessing quality education and training and their solution methods are not new problems for people working for IKU. Because IKU was founded by a foundation where educators who have been dealing with education and training successfully since the 1930s were active. The university is run by the Board of Trustees, consisting of people with educational features and experience.

The Chairman and Members of the Board of Trustees who have given their years to school institutions at all stages of education from Kindergarten to Higher Education have proven their success in the education sector since they know very well that quality is possible with an excellent physical environment and an outstanding, experienced and creative teaching staff.

Offices, classrooms, and laboratories in our buildings located in the Şirinevler Campus of Kent University type are carefully constructed and equipped with care. In addition to the Şirinevler Campus, a new 65,000 m2 Ataköy Campus, 40,000 m2 indoor and 25,000 m2 open, was put into service in the 2004-2005 academic year. On this campus, besides the halls where various scientific, social, and cultural activities can be held, there is also a sports complex. Starting from the 2009 - 2010 academic year, a new 6,000 m2 campus has been opened for students studying at Vocational Schools.
