Eskişehir Osmangazi University

Eskişehir Osmangazi University is a public university in Eskişehir. Eskişehir Osmangazi University was established on 18 August 1993 with Decree-Law No. 496; Faculty of Engineering-Architecture, Medicine and Science, and Letters and University Hospital were separated from Anadolu University and connected to Osmangazi University. Eskişehir School of Health and Vocational School of Health Services, Institute of Science, Health Sciences, Educational Sciences, and Social Sciences and newly opened Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences were restructured under the name of Osmangazi University. The name of Osmangazi University was changed as "Eskişehir Osmangazi University" with Law No. 5379 on July 1, 2005.

With the Senate Decision, which was legally established in 1993, the year of establishment of 'Eskişehir State Engineering Architecture Academy (EDMMA)' 1970 'is used as' establishment year'. In 1994, Sivrihisar Vocational High School, in 1995 Faculty of Agriculture and Theology, in 1998, Faculty of Education were established, and in 2008, the Faculty of Dentistry and State Conservatory was added to our units. Mahmudiye Atcılık Vocational School started education in 2007-2008 academic year, and the Faculty of Art and Design was established in 2009. Faculty of Health Sciences started accepting students in the 2016-2017 academic year. Finally, the Faculty of Tourism was established in 2013 and the Faculty of Law was established in 2018, and it has been added to our university, which has been growing and developing rapidly from the past to the present.

The total campus area of ​​Eskişehir Osmangazi University is 2.880.830 m2 and 80.000 m2 of this area is used as a classroom-laboratory-office, 50.000 m2 as social facility-library and 62.000 m2 as health area. Meşelik, Bademlik, Çamlık, Ali Numan Kıraç, Sivrihisar, Sarıcakaya, Mahmudiye, Çifteler, and Organized Industrial Zone Campuses continue their education, training and R&D activities. Eskişehir Osmangazi University, which is a deep-rooted and strong university with its 49 years of scientific knowledge, continues to produce information with 12 Faculties, 4 Colleges, 4 Institutes, and 32 Application and Research Centers and progresses on the path of contemporary science.
