Erzurum Technical University

Our university was established in Erzurum as a second state university with 6 faculties, 3 institutes, and 1 college with the decision dated 27.08.2010 and numbered 27648. Our university, which was established in 2010, took its first students in the 2012-2013 academic year and gave its first graduates in the 2015-2016 academic year.

ETÜ, which carries out the construction activities rapidly, continues to complete most of the campus area. Our modern faculties and administrative buildings rising in an area of ​​4,000 decares on the airport road are exemplary among the new generation universities. With the completion of the 6250 m2 central classroom building, an important step was taken for the education standards and social facilities of our students. Next to this, an additional classroom building of 3.178 m2 was built to be used as a gym.

Then, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Letters, 19.581 m2 of Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty building has been completed and the students of the said faculty continue their education in this building. The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the construction of which was completed, was opened in 2017. In addition, our Rectorate building of 12.578 m2, which was built as a synthesis of Seljuk, Ottoman period, and Republican architecture, was completed and put into service in 2016.

Our dormitory with a capacity of 152 students, donated by İşbank to our university, actively serves and responds to the accommodation and social life needs of our students. In 2017, 1,500-person Credit and Hostels Institution's dormitories will be put into service in our campus area.

With its qualified R&D studies, 4700 m2 High Technology Application and Research Center (YÜTAM), which has made itself a serious contribution to our region, our region and our country to reach its 2023 technological targets, was completed and put into service in 2017. The foundation of our refectory was laid in 2016 and the first phase of the Student Life Center was started.

The construction of the Student Life Center, which will develop rapidly with the student bazaar and social life accessories, is continuing rapidly. In addition, the allocations of 16 lodgings, which have been completed, have been started to be used and the construction of 32 lodgings is ongoing. Within our university, 6,000 meters of bicycles, walking, and vehicle road infrastructure and lighting were completed and the transportation needs were met.
