Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University
Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University was established in Erzincan on 01 March 2006 with the law numbered 5467. The university units, which were previously affiliated to Erzurum Atatürk University, were gathered under the roof of Erzincan University with the said law. Although its establishment date is new, its faculties are deeply rooted. As an example, the Faculty of Education was opened on October 4, 1967 as the Girls Primary School with a three-year education period, and then in 1992, it was transformed into a 4-year undergraduate faculty, while the Faculty of Law was established in 1987.

The University has accomplished great things in a short time and continues to develop by folding itself. Civil Aviation School was established in the new period and started education in the 2010-2011 academic year. Also, one of the only 2 Rail program in universities in Turkey are also included in this university. (The other one is at Eskişehir Anadolu University)

The new campus area of ​​the university has been designated as the Solobağ Campus on the 12th kilometer of the Erzincan-Sivas highway. The new campus has high standards. In addition to the Solobağ Campus, a mini campus was created. Here, there are academic units related to health such as the Faculty of Medicine and Institute of Health Sciences. The university has also been opened to the international arena and has become a member of programs such as the European University Association, the Black Sea Universities Network (Black Sea Universities Network), Magna Charta, and Erasmus.

Erzincan University Central Laboratory of qualified personnel, infrastructure and attain the qualifications recognized at the international level in the field with laboratory facilities, to achieve its goal of Turkey's leading laboratories have adopted the continuous development in order to improve understanding.
