Çukurova University is a public university founded in 1973. Our university campus looks like a natural park with a magnificent view, located on 20 thousand decares of land on the east side of Seyhan Dam Lake. The university, which is only 10 km away from the city center, is among the few campus universities of our country with its strong academic staff, advanced infrastructure and modern facilities that will meet all kinds of sportive, socio-cultural needs of students and employees. Our university offers students a happy living environment with indoor and outdoor sports facilities, the dam lake where international canoe races can be held, areas where all kinds of artistic activities are held, easy transportation and adequate accommodation opportunities, and ease of climate and living conditions.

There are 18 Faculties, 4 Schools, 12 Vocational Schools, 1 State Conservatory, 4 Institutes and 37 Research and Application Centers in our University, which have been developing continuously in terms of both academic and physical conditions since its establishment. Our School of Foreign Languages, which is one of our colleges, is a unit that provides preparatory education only to those departments that study in a foreign language.

Çukurova University, which contributes to Çukurova agriculture, which has the most fertile lands of our country, produces joint projects in cooperation with the regional industry, serves the South and Southeastern region with its research and application reference hospital, and hosts artistic and scientific events with its modern and well-equipped Congress Center, It is the shining sun of the Eastern Mediterranean region.

Around 56,000 students receive education at our university. We have a total of 7,746 graduate students at the Institute of Science, Social, Health Sciences, Addiction, and Forensic Sciences.

Our university has a total of 2,294 academic staff, including 485 professors, 215 associate professors, 343 assistant professors, 792 research assistants, 459 lecturers, including academicians who have received various awards at international and national platforms. Our university also undertakes the mission of training faculty members to newly established universities.

Çukurova University, which is the only and leading university in the region for many years, has contributed to the establishment of many universities in the region, such as Mustafa Kemal University, Mersin University, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, as well as the faculties and colleges in Adana.
