Çankaya University

Çankaya University is a foundation university founded by the Sıtkı Alp Education Foundation on July 09, 1997. The university started its activities in the 1997-98 academic year. The language of instruction is English, except for the Faculty of Law, where Turkish education is provided. As of 16 May 2016, 7,772 students are studying at the university. In addition, 322 faculty members and 157 faculty members continue their activities within the university. The area of ​​the university's Turquoise campus is approximately 440,000 square meters, of which 70,000 square meters are closed areas.

A pioneer in the production and use of science and technology, which will contribute to the formation of a common understanding by raising human rights awareness, ensuring internationalization; To continue to be a University that is proud to be its staff, students and graduates. Çankaya University attaches importance to internationalization since its foundation. The internationalization of a university is very important in terms of the production and transfer of academic knowledge by following research and development and innovation trends in the world and through mutual interaction. For this reason, Çankaya University aims at internationalization by enabling its students to gain international experience, by supporting its academic staff to follow international developments and by participating in international collaborations.

To contribute to students, working life and society by following the developments in their field, doing research and development at the international level, producing information by applying what they have learned in current technology laboratories and transforming it into a social benefit.

Academic Units

Çankaya University; has 5 faculties, 2 vocational schools, and 24 departments connected to them. In addition, there are 5 research and application centers, 2 institutes, and preparatory schools. Many sports complexes belonging to Faculty of Law, Faculty of Architecture, Institutes, and Çankaya University Sports Club are located in the Balgat campus, and all other departments and complexes are in Turquoise campus.
