Bursa Technical University

Istanbul Technical University, Turkey's Grand National Assembly was established by a law issued in 2010. The first rector of the University Prof.Dr. Is Ali Sürmen. On December 11, 2014, the rectorate Prof.Dr. Arif Karademir took over.

As the second state university of Bursa, it was established with 6 Faculties, 2 Institutes, and 1 High School according to the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 21.07.2010 and numbered 27648.

There is an English preparatory class at the university. Following the preparatory class, the Mechanical Engineering department courses are 30% English, the Chemistry Department courses are elective English and Turkish.
