In accordance with the 13th article of “Law Amending Some Laws and Decree Laws” published in the official newspaper of Biruni University, 27.02.2014 and numbered 28926, dated 20.02.2014 and numbered 6525; It was established within the scope of Annex Article 156, added to the Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions numbered 2809, dated 28/3/1983.

The World Education Foundation operates in Istanbul, in order to provide efficient and effective service to the society, especially in the fields of education, health, and culture, and to contribute to the development of the society. Biruni University, which has taken its place among the foundation universities by taking inspiration from the Turkish scientist Abu Reyhan El-Biruni, who gave his important works in many fields including Medicine, Pharmacy, Astronomy, Mathematics, Physics, Geography and History, and named him as "Universal Genius" in the world science history. started its academic activities in the 2014-2015 academic year with 6 Faculties and 1 Health Services Vocational School, all related to the field of health.
