Bingöl University

Bingöl University was established with the law numbered 5662, which came into force after it was published in the Official Gazette No. 26536 dated 29.05.2007.

There are 3 faculties, 2 institutes, 1 college, and 2 vocational schools affiliated to our Rectorate.

Undergraduate and graduate education has started in various departments of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Agriculture and Economics and Administrative Sciences in the 2009-2010 academic year. However; Education continues with students enrolled in associate degree programs.

Bingöl Vocational School was established in 1983 under the Fırat University. The high school, which started education and training at the engineering faculty campus in Elazig, has started to continue its education in prefabricated buildings in Bingöl since 1987. The high school, which continued its educational activities in the old Bingöl High School between 2004-2008, was moved to the Faculty of Agriculture building, which was opened in the 2008-2009 academic year. Currently, education continues in this building.

Bingöl University Health Services Vocational High School; was established with the decision taken at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting held on 31.03.2009. Our school includes Child development, Radiology, and Medical Laboratory programs. Teaching and research activities 3 Assist. and maintained by a lecturer.

Bingöl University has a 620-acre campus area on the Bingöl - Elazığ road intertwined with the city center. If the area that divides the land allocated to our university into two and which is 592 acres but still cannot be obtained due to legal problems is included, our campus will be in integrity. Thus, it will be protected from large infrastructure services that can meet our needs and require very high costs. 165 acres of the currently allocated land is divided by the Bingöl - Elazığ road. We plan to solve this problem by overpassing and combine both areas. In addition to the building of the Faculty of Agriculture in the first campus, two classrooms and a Rectorate building and various social and sports complexes will be built.
