Bilkent University

Bilkent University is a private university located in Ankara, Turkey's capital. By Ihsan Dogramaci, Ihsan Dogramaci Education Foundation, Ihsan Dogramaci Health Care Foundation, and Ihsan Dogramaci Science and Research Foundation decided on October 20, 1984, Turkey was founded as the first private university. For this purpose, the university was named Bilkent, which is the abbreviation of "Science City". It is one of the leading institutions of higher education in the world with its educational level, scientific research and publications, culture-art activities, and the success of its students and graduates.

The campus of the university is located between the Beytepe campus of Hacettepe University and the Ankara campus of Middle East Technical University. The university campus, located on the 12th kilometer of the Ankara-Eskişehir road, has 3 campuses: Central, East, and Central. The campus is located on a 5,000-acre land.

Having established the Career Center in 1988 to guide students in their post-diploma plans, Bilkent has created a strong link between students and graduates and the business world. Career For this purpose, the first unit opened at a university in Turkey Center, are sharing a database containing the CVs of students and graduates with employers over the internet. Bilkent residents can upload their CVs to this database and apply for job and internship postings of the member companies of the system.

Preparations for the establishment of Bilkent, Turkey's first private university based in 1967. These preparations, which started with the acquisition of a large land in the west of Ankara, laid the foundations of a research university that has over 45,000 graduates today.
