Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University

Founded on 29 May 2007, our university is our new Rector, Prof.Dr. With the appointment of Azmi ÖZCAN in December 2007, he started his educational activities.

It was founded by the Faculty of Science and Letters, the Faculty of Engineering and the Institute of Social Sciences and Sciences affiliated to the rectorate. At the establishment stage of the university, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Osmaneli Vocational High School, Pazaryeri Vocational High School, Gölpazarı Vocational High School, Söğüt Vocational High School, which was affiliated with Dumlupınar University for many years, was changed by changing its name and connection and connected to the Rectorate. Higher School, Anadolu University Vocational School, and Bozüyük Vocational School were also included.

Our university, which started its education and training activities with one faculty and six vocational schools, was completed in the 2008-2009 academic year by completing the academic and administrative structure of the Faculty of Engineering, Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer. Engineering, Chemical, and Process Engineering, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering departments. Our Faculty of Engineering continues its educational activities with 251 students today. 60 students study at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

The Institute of Social Sciences has Departments of Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, and 107 students receive education in these departments. In the Institute of Science, 35 students receive education in the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering. Today, a total of 8 thousand students are studying in our faculties and colleges.
