Bayburt University

Bayburt University is a Turkish university founded in Bayburt with a law issued by the Turkish Grand National Assembly in 2008.

Established in 2008 in Bayburt, Bayburt University is an academic community united under the responsibility of being one of the world-renowned community universities and/or institutes in liberal education, research and service, providing rare opportunities for the learning and personal development of its students, and improving the quality of life of the people of the region and the country. It aimed to be the address of student-centered research.

Bayburt University seeks not only to prepare its students as leaders in a responsible life that generates information, shares and presents them for the benefit of the society, but also seeks to improve the social, cultural and economic conditions of the people of the region and country through quality education, research, and service programs.
