Batman University

Established by Ahmet Necdet Sezer on May 28, 2007, in Batman University No. 5662, the Law on the Amendment of the Decree in Higher Education Institutions and the Decree-Law on the Staffing of Higher Education Institutions and the Decree-Law on its General Staff and Procedure. It is one of 17 new universities. It is located in the province of Batman.

Universities are not just institutions for theoretical and practical education. Those who are at the university level in their educational life also want to improve themselves in social and cultural areas. Here is our university that provides education in this direction; there is a good tradition of communication and tolerance among academics, students, and staff.

Batman is also a modern city with a population of 400,000, malls, education, and health services, as well as with other social opportunities has a better structure than many cities in Turkey. Our university also has modern laboratories (cultural assets repair, computer, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, food, marbling, carpet weaving, etc.) that do not exist in many developed universities today in a way that suits the city of Batman. We have many application areas and workshops where our technical schools can easily carry out their practice lessons. With these opportunities, our students who are placed in our departments are given theoretical lessons, and they are provided with more experienced experience after graduation.

Turkey alone with two places in the capital of the oil from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Department, we give Batman. Our students who will choose this section will also see important facilities such as TPAO, TÜPRAŞ, and BOTAŞ from the source of oil, and they will have the opportunity to apply some of their education on practical ground in oil fields. In addition, all of our students who completed the Department of Protection and Repair of Cultural Heritage, which we graduated last year, have started working at various institutions and organizations. The departments in our university are privileged departments that our students will have a profession when graduated.

Batman is a comfortable, cheap, and safe city for our students who want to study at our university.
