Our university, which was founded in 2008 by Mehmet Altınbaş Education and Culture Foundation under the name of "Istanbul Kemerburgaz University", continues its path under the name of "Altınbaş University" with the name change made in 2017.

Founded on the "will to invest in education" by the late businessman Mehmet Altınbaş, Altınbaş University has always been the most precious social responsibility heritage for the Altınbaş family. Taking the power of Altınbaş Holding with the change of name, the University started to walk to its new and competitive targets more quickly and safely with this driving force.

Having received its first students in the 2011-2012 academic year, Altınbaş University has rapidly progressed to become an international research university with its breakthroughs in a short time. In this context, patents continued to create added value in the field of science with TÜBİTAK projects and International Congress Leadership-9 continues to teach with the program. Within the scope of its goal of becoming an international science center, more than 3 thousand of over 11 thousand students studying at the university are students from 80 different countries of the world.
